Overview
What to expect
High performance at SOS Exercise Physiology is about optimising performance, whether you're chasing a marathon PB, getting back to your sport, or simply becoming more capable in younger or older years.
Programs are periodised around your goals, schedule and life, with movement coaching, quantitative assessment and clear progressions. We want to see you improve at lightning speed!
Sessions can be fully coached one-on-one, hybrid (some coached, some self-directed with weekly to monthly check-ins), or remote programming if you prefer to train elsewhere.

Step 1 of 3
Initial assessment
Initial assessment
We will assess a battery of targeted fitness components that will be directly applied to our programming, whether that be your quadriceps strength, or VO2max. These numbers will pose as our baseline.
Periodised programming
We will structure your training into polarised and periodised weeks and months, inclusive of all facets of training; strength, cardio and recovery. This will be organised around your competition and life!
The skill of being an athlete
We will coach you as an individual, instilling in you the skills to autonomously manage your training - in the gym and on the track. Of course, we'll be here as a resource, but to be a proficient athlete, you must have a strong understanding of the demands the sport places on you.

No referral is required for private sessions. Medicare, DVA, TAC and NDIS pathways may need a referral or plan from your GP and/or coordinator.
Most extras policies cover exercise physiology. We can process HICAPS claims on the spot where available. Please enquire with your insurer to see what rebate you may be eligible for under item codes 102, 202 and 302.
'Fit' is ambiguous and relative! We all need to start somewhere and lay that first brick.
